Lauren + Andrew got married on Cinco de Mayo in Charlotte, North Carolina. Their wedding had a simple + elegant aesthetic featuring soothing grays, whites, + fresh greenery. We created touches of romanticism with vintage gold mirror signage detailed with white, hand painted lettering. My absolute favorite detail from this wedding was the donut signage we hand lettered on an ornate table top mirror!
For the invitation, we played off of Lauren + Andrew’s plan to include lots of fresh greenery throughout the wedding. We used a leafy watercolor graphic to nod to the eventual decor of the day. The invitations were digitally printed on a luxurious white linen-textured paper. We softened up the suite by rounding the corners of each invitation piece. Since Lauren + Andrew opted to have their guests RSVP via their wedding website, we did not include a traditional RSVP piece. Instead we put those resources behind a vintage postage cluster on the outer envelope, which absolutely popped against the deep navy envelope color.
In addition to the vintage mirror signage, we incorporated coordinating programs, escort cards, and menus in the same aesthetic as the invitation suite. We used the same white linen-textured paper to keep everything beautifully cohesive.
